Apple Harvest in Autumn

I love being out in the countryside, walking and cycling, and whenever I do, I make a mental note of what’s growing where, a virtual map of great spots to return to when the time is right. I shot these apple trees nearby and developed them in a moody, dramatic setting as I felt this sits well with some of the already rotten apples and my general autumn mood. I turned the good apples into a delicious apple tart :)
